Obituary of Urbano Eliseo Remache

Urbano Eliseo Remache, age 81 passed away on March 2nd at Flushing hospital. He was battling Covid and pneumonia. He was born in Ecuador on October 23,1939. He was married to Rosa Hermelinda Calvijo on May 12, 1961. He migrated to the United states in 1975 and later brought his family to join him. Together they raised six children, Martha, Gladys, Anita, Elio, Alexandra and Freddy. They also raised their daughter Anita's five children Rene, Dóris, Jessica, Jennifer and Jonathan after her passing in 1993. They never viewed it as a burden to raise them, they loved them as if they were their own children. He was a devoted husband to Rosa til the very end. She unfortunately passed away on January 17, 2021. God knew he couldn't keep them separated for too long. Both Urbano and Rosa were members of Lá Primera Iglesia Bautista de lá Communidad in Elmhurst. They taught their children the word of God and lived by his word. He was the most generous man, always full of life, laughter and lots of love. He went above and beyond for his family and friends even helped those in need. By far the greatest father figure out there. With God first, he lived his life til the very end. He is survived by his nine children, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Let us all rejoice that now he is at peace reunited with his wife and daughter. Let's remember the good memories and live by his example. Visitation will be Sunday, March 7 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Private cremation.
