Obituary of Robert C. Demko

Robert Courtney Demko Robert Courtney Demko was born on January 4, 1955 in New York City to Mary and Stephen Demko. He grew up in Woodside and continued to live there due to his love for New York and the Woodside area. On December 20, 2020 Robert left his temporary earthly home for his eternal home in heaven with is Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Robert believed in the Gospel that Jesus, God's only begotten Son, who came from heaven to earth to die for our sins and give eternal life to all who believe. Robert accepted Jesus and the salvation He provided for him and lived his days in gratitude and worship of Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Meeting him in heaven are his parents Mary and Stephen, grandparents, a nephew Zachary Demko, and other family members. Robert was a very special person who would put a smile on your face and a laugh in your heart. He had a deep concern for the well being of family, friends, co-workers at the building he worked at for 30 years and the H&R Block tax office. All who knew him enjoyed being around him because he was so genuine and sincere. He loved attending Evangel Church participating in a men's Bible study group, and other activities with the church. He loved to travel and see the world God created. On many travels he would explore the areas and went scuba diving. He travelled to many places with special people and enjoyed visiting family in other states. Robert is in the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ. Remaining behind are his older brothers family, Rowland and Rikako, Shirley and David, Johanna Demko, and his younger brothers family Jonathan and Carol, Jonathan and Keilah, and Andrew Demko and many very close friends. It is his desire that you also get to know Jesus as your savior and the eternal life he offers to all who believe (John 3:16).
