Obituary of Kathleen O'Brien

Kathleen O'Brien died November 25, 2020 at Memorial-Sloan Kettering. Kathleen was born March 24, 1954 in Lower Cromane, Co. Kerry, Ireland. Cherished daughter of the late Patrick and Kathleen (Foley) Sugrue. Beloved wife of John O'Brien who is a retired Lieutenant with the NYPD. Loving mother of Jacqueline Coughlan and her husband Liam, John O'Brien (NYPD) and his wife Sarah, Megan Espinola (NYPD) and her husband Nick, and Michael O'Brien. Dear grandmother of Tommy, Dillon, Liam, Emma, Madison and Jack. Sister of Mary, Eileen, Roseann, John, Patrick, Michael and the late Bridget. Kathleen is also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, November 30 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
