James G. Delaney died October 4, 2020 at Forest Hills Hospital. Delaney was born August 30, 1959 in Mountrath, Co. Laois, Ireland. He was a Mechanical Engineer for Local #30. Beloved husband of Mary (Judy) nee Healy. Loving father of Kyle and Conor Delaney. Dear brother of Breda Dooley and her husband Tim, Fintan Delaney and the late Mairead Kavanagh and Paula Bryne. Brother-in-law to Jerry Kavanagh and Ollie Byrne. Uncle to Owen, Taidgh, Diarmaid, Paul, Geroid, Dara, Oisin, Fionn and Brona. Visitation will be Thursday, October 8 from 5-9Pm at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am on Friday, October 9, 2020 at St. Mary's Church Winfield, 70-20 47th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Cremation Private.
