Kenneth James Kessler, formerly of Woodside, NY, died August 10, 2020 at his home in Manhattan. Kenneth was born August 27, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY. Retired LT from the FDNY, Engine # 263 and Ladder 128. Beloved husband of Helen (Judy) nee Dunphy. Loving father of Daniel P. Sheridan (Jean Maire), Eileen Sheridan and Karen Kessler. Cherished grandfather to Jillian Sheridan, Christine Sheridan, Kiera Sheridan and Ryan Bartels. Visitation will be Thursday, August 13 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer service will be held at 7PM. Interment with Military Honors will be at Calvary Cemetery, in Woodside on Friday, August 14 at 10:30AM.
