There isn't enough room here to say all the reasons you are missed. The relationship you had with Ritchie was one of the best. The part of our lives that you made better can't be replaced. You were a great uncle to my kids, godfather to Vickie, and a wonderful brother-in-law. We will love you and miss you forever.

Uncle Bub meant the world to me. It's hard to select one of a lifetime of memories, but he will always be my my favorite storyteller. He had so much energy and emotion when he spoke that I could listen to him talk for hours about anything. It's a rare quality that will never be replaced. Love you Uncle Bub. Hope you and dad are hanging out on the giant golf course in the sky.

It seems like Robert has always been in my life. From all of Dave's shared stories and photos to being the best man at our wedding to all the many family get togethers. I didn't have to see him every day to know he was always there for us. He loved his chocolate birthday cake I baked for him, and we loved him. Much love always.

Robert was a fun-loving, always entertaining, kind man. He taught Joanna and I our favorite two player card game, Casino, which has been adopted by my entire friend group. He always had interesting facts or stories to share especially when it came to history and he could recommend really good books. He was really thoughtful and sweet, like when he got Joanna her first Mother’s Day card before she was even a mother. He was really good with kids and they all loved him. We remember him having babbling conversations with Eli that always made us laugh and on Christmas he gave Henry one of his very favorite trains to this day (a big deal to Henry). We will miss Robert very much and will always think of him especially when we play Casino. Love, Chris, Joanna and Henry

I have so many memories with Uncle Bub and they all make me smile. I remember when I was little and I would wake up on a Saturday or Sunday morning and hear you and my dad talking in the living room. I was so excited just because you were there. I couldn’t have asked for a better uncle or godfather. I love you Uncle Bub and I will miss you forever.

A big part of my childhood involves memories with Robert. Many weekends were spent in Woodside with Denise and Robert and that was so fun and different than the regular suburban life. We would always go to the corner store and get slim Jim’s, to this day that’s what they remind me of. Robert took us to our first real concert, Aerosmith and Skid Row, that was so cool. He also took us to Action Park, I think that was the only time I was ever there, and still laugh at stories from that trip. So much fun!! Most of all I just loved going into “the city” aka Woodside, going to all their families apartments, dinner at Grandmas, such a great family. I’m so sad Robert is gone, and I hope Denise and family can smile during this time reading through memories that will never fade. xoxo

This past January we had such a fun birthday dinner celebration at a hibachi grille for Denise’s dad.. Everyone was so happy and laughing about the sounds of oooooohhhhh and aaaaaaaahhhs we all made while watching the chef cook on the grille and make fire. We had such a great time, we love you Robert and will miss you very much. Rest In Peace

Me, Josh, Vinny and Robert went to many Islander games. After Vinnys first playoff game, Me and Josh got separated from Robert and Vinny on our way to the parking lot. When we caught up with them, Robert had bought Vinny a "Rock the Barn" t-shirt. Vin was so pumped, he still wears the shirt. Robert will be missed by many, including myself and my family. Rest easy, my friend.
