My mom, Colleen, would always say, "I can only think of dear Lorraine with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye." The heavens shone brighter on Monday when flights of angels sang Lorraine to her rest. Lorraine was a joy to know. Her humor and work ethic were to be admired. Everyone knew how funny and hard working Lorraine was but then Rosie O'Donnell found out too and had Lorraine on her show - highlighting Broadway shows and the ushers!. My mom taped the show (VHS!) and then invited all the St. Raphael's ladies over to watch it with Lorraine occupying center stage! These friends gathered regularly and always erupted in laughs as they shared old stories and new experiences. We were blessed to grow up in Sunnyside/St. Raphael's - providing us with cherished memories - and to have wonderful moms. Lorraine O'Sullivan - you were a joy to know - may you enjoy eternal rest - unless of course - someone needs to cross the street - or be shown to a seat. LOVE YOU xxx RIP

Eileen Frawley said it so beautifully. Lorraine was a very nice person to know. the Shubert family send their condolences to Lorraine's family and friends.
