Sophia Carr (nee Mucha), age 76, of Woodside died Monday, January 6, 2020. Sophia was born July 15, 1943 in Germany. Beloved daughter of the late Jozef & Josepha Mucha. Loving mother of Richard (Petra) and Jerry (Nancy). Cherished grandmother of Isabella, Timothy, Helena and William. Dear sister of Diane Mucha and Dorothy Mucha. Visitation will be Friday, January 10 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:15AM on Saturday, January 11 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, following the mass.
