Obituary of John Joseph Dooley

John Joseph Dooley died November 20, 2019 at Calvary Hospital. Mr. Dooley was born November 14, 1933 in New York City. He was a proud veteran with the US Navy (1953-1957) and National Guard (1951-1953). Beloved husband of Sonja (nee Ziegler). Loving father of Laura Marks and her husband Thomas and Karen Barrett and her husband Thomas. Cherished grandfather of Christopher Marks and his wife Linda, Brett Marks and his fiancée Victoria, and Kyle Marks. Dear great-grandfather of Brandon Marks. Visitation will be Friday, November 22 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Putnam Valley on Saturday, November 23.
