Obituary of Helen Garmendia

Mickey Garmendia, age 89, of Sunnyside, died Friday, September 27, 2019 at home in Sunnyside. Helen was born September 19, 1930 in Paterson, NJ. She retired as a representative of American Airlines. Beloved wife of Nesbitt. Loving mother of David and the late Bruce. Cherished grandmother of Kimberly Wilkerson, Stacey Garmendia and Kelsey Gegan. Dear sister to Catherine McFall and the late Jean Rafferty and Walter Maxwell. Also survived by her great-grandchildren: Alyia Anderson, Athena Wilkerson, Alarick Gegan, Davyn Gegan and Navi Garmendia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
