Obituary of John Cotter
John Cotter, native of Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland, formerly of Queens, NY died suddenly on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at home in Hartford, CT. John was born May 31, 1965 in Ennis Co. Clare, Ireland.
Beloved son of Michael and the late Sheila (nee Horan). Loving brother of Pat (Eileen), Mary (John), Finola (Martin), Martin (Mairead), Michael (Annette), Stephen (Susie), Louise (Fergal), Barbara (Barry), Finbar (Annmarie), Damien (Sarah), Sheila (Brendan) and the late Tom. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 from 3-9PM at The Darcy Residence. 66-14 51st Road, Woodside NY 11377.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 16th at 9:30AM at St. Mary's RC Church (Winfield), 70-20 47th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Drumcliff Cemetery, in Co. Clare, Ireland.
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of John sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
