James Vanson, age 77, of Woodside, died Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Elmhurst Hospital. James was born June 7, 1941 in New York, NY. He is the son of the late James and Catherine (Kane) Vanson. Beloved brother of William Vanson and his wife Margaret, Eileen McDonough and her late husband Frank, Mary Ferguson and her late husband Charles, and the late Sr. Rita Vanson, CIJ, Stephen Michael Vanson, and Catherine Vanson. Loving uncle to William, Mary Beth and Anthony. Memorial Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial of ashes will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
