Obituary of Philomena Doherty

Philomena Doherty (nee Flynn), age 84, died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at her home in Woodside. Philomena was born January 12, 1935 in Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of John, Joseph and his wife Karen, and Michael and his wife Mary. Cherished grandmother of Tommy, Jaclyn, Belen and Joseph. Dear sister of Nellie Mulreany, Agnes McCabe, Bridie Mitchell, and Patrick Flynn. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:15 am on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village following the Mass.
