Charles Allen, age 87, lifelong resident of Yorkville, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at home in New York. Charles was born August 6, 1931 in New York, NY. He was a restaurateur, owning Sweetwaters Restaurant. He served for the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Beloved father of Peter, Paul, Cindy (Vincent) Killackey, Charlene Allen and Charlie Allen. Loving grandfather of Danielle, Paul Joseph, Katrina & Vincent. Dear brother of Mary Laracuente. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:45 am on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at St. Joseph's RC Church, 404 East 87th Street, New York, NY.
