Mary Prendergast (nee Cummins), of Haskell, NJ, formerly of Sunnyside, died Friday, January 4, 2019. Native of Claremorris, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Mary J. and her husband Robert Rex and John Prendergast (Ret Sgt. NYPD). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, January 7 from 7-9PM and Tuesday, January 8 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Queen of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial follow at Calvary Cemetery, in Woodside.
