Obituary of Shirley M Young

Shirley M Young (McGovern), age 78, of Sunnyside, died Sunday, November 18, 2018 at home in Sunnyside. Shirley was born June 21, 1940 in Bronx, NY. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Young and Robert Lane. Loving sister of Helen McGovern, SC and the late James McGovern and his wife Doris. Dearest aunt of James McGovern and his wife Diane, Brian McGovern and his wife Rachel, Dennis McGovern and his wife Mary, Theresa Egan and her husband Tom, and Michael McGovern and his wife Jan. Shirley is also survived by loving great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, November 23 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Queen Of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village following the Mass.
