Mary never really wanted me to know her age. She was so young of heart balanced with amazing grace and grit. I will deeply miss my friend, and my confidant. Her advice was priceless. Her guidance was reassuring when I was new parent. Her humor & joy for life truly were what made our toddler play dates so much fun. Love and miss you always.

I grew up with J, and Mary felt like another grandmother to me. I've visited her house many times even as a small child and up until now. This news is so hard to accept, and I give my condolences to all of her close family members that are effected.

My sincere condolences to the loved ones of Mrs. Mary Hachadoorian.
I had the opportunity to visit St Sebastian’s Church with Neva many years ago, and then spend the rest of the day with the Hachadoorian family. Mary instantly made me feel welcomed! I was fascinated by her stories of a less industrialized New York City and growing her family here. I will also never forgot how impressed I was with her technological skills! I am in my twenties and still do not understand my iPhone as well as Mary!
On another occasion I was able to visit Mrs. Hachadoorian with Neva while she was recovering at the hospital in the Upper East Side. Mary knew I was working in the fashion industry, and had taken the time to save a New York Times clipping for me about fashion week. I still have that newspaper clipping.
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers today.

I am a dear friend of Neva. We met in 2009 and we have managed to have lasting friendship through the years. I was formally introduce to both her mom and dad during our tour in Japan. We enjoyed good company, laughter, and great food (the way to the soul). I will never forget those times...it was good times. I am grateful for the short time of knowing her. It afforded me an opportunity to learned more about my dear friend Neva. I learn not only does she look like her mom, but she was spicy like her mom : ) With that said, I was completely taken aback when I received the news, but I know she is in a better place and free from pain. I sincerely send my condolences and prayers for the heavy minds and hearts. May you find comfort in the Lord.
Godspeed,
Jaleka

My sincere condolences. Mary was a generous soul who without a second thought adopted my son as a grandkid and just loved him so much when we would see her, knowing I didnt have parents. She had a big heart and was always there to support her family in their endeavors. She is lucky to have been so loved and we were lucky and better to have known her and loved her. The Lord calls us all home eventually, okay she be in heaven without pain watching over us.

I remember many happy times that I spent with Mary, Gil and the family when we summered on Long Island's North Shore. We shared our morning tea, indulged in her favorite Vienna creme donuts and chocolate chip muffins as well. Her kindnesses were many and varied. Mary gave me the gift of a Cockapoo dog that kept giving and giving for all of fifteen years. He was the brother of her beloved Snowflake. The best gift however, was her friendship that I will treasure forever. May the memory of Mary be an inspiration and a blessing to all. Rest peacefully Mary under G-d protective wings.
