Obituary of Raymond J. Abruzzi

Raymond J. Abruzzi, age 78, of College Point, died Friday, October 5, 2018 at Winthrop University Hospital of Mineola, NY. Raymond was born August 21, 1940 in Passaic, NJ. He was a retired Assistant Chief of Detectives with the NYPD and a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Husband of Deborah (nee Salzer). Father of Kenneth, Karen, Raymond and Stephen. Grandfather of Max, Aiden and Jack.

Visitation will be Monday, October 8 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. USMC Military Honors will be conducted at 4pm. A Prayer Service will take place at 7:30pm.

The Funeral Service will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY Cremation will be in Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village following the Funeral Service.
