Obituary of Leslieann Huggins

Leslieann Huggins, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, after a two-year battle with cancer in the comfort of her home. She was born on March 25th 1965 in Trinidad to the late Elsa Huggins and Clarence Powlette. She gained a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English Literature at Queens College. Among her many titles she was an amazing single mother, sister, aunt and friend. Leslieann truly was a fighter and made the most out of her life. One of her favorite pastimes was exploring different cuisines with her loved ones throughout New York. Leslieann had a unique ability to connect with people in a deep and positive way. She will always be remembered by her daughter Alyssa and three sisters; Roxanne, Sherilan and Suzanne. She will also be remembered by nieces Raeann, Ashley, nephews Xavier, Brandon, Jontel and great nephew Xayn. Family, friends, and others whose lives Leslieann touched are invited to the Edward D Lynch Funeral Home, 43-07 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, NY 11104, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, July 28th, 2018, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and celebrate the life of Leslieann Huggins.
