Joan Armstrong, age 89, resident of Dominican Village Assisted Living, Amityville, NY and a longtime parishioner of St. Teresa Church, Woodside, NY, died Monday, July 2, 2018. Joan was born November 13, 1928 in New York, NY. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Walker) Armstrong. Loving sister of Mary P. Reilly, Brother Thomas Conan Armstrong and the late Jeanette Henry. Cherished aunt to John Reilly and his wife Bonnie, Mary Reilly, Joan Reilly, Thomas Reilly and his wife Susan, Robert Reilly and his wife Susan, James Reilly and his wife Margarita, Lawrence Reilly and his wife Lauren, Jeanette Ann Henry, Mary Jane Henry, Patrick Henry and the late Thomas Henry. Dear great-aunt to Katie, Beth, Megan, Sean, Erin, Michael, Marybeth, Katie, Jack, Ian, Kimberly, Jimmy, Elizabeth, Julianna, Jillian and Isabella. Visitation will be Friday, July 6 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:15 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
