Obituary of Margaret Farrelly

Margaret (Peggy) Farrelly passed away peacefully in her home with her husband and family around her October 4th 2023 Peggy was born February 24, 1938 in Faughane, West Cork, Ireland to Timothy and Mary O'Driscoll She immigrated to the United States to her Aunt Nora, her mother's sister, at the age of 17 She met and married her husband, Patrick Farrelly in 1958. Together they went on to raise a family of four while operating an auto repair business in Woodside, Queens, NY. Has resided in Hudson NY, Lords Valley PA and Sarasota FL She leaves behind her beloved husband Patrick, her children Joseph, Patrick and Phyllis, daughter-in-law Patricia, grandchildren Michael Farrelly, Cassidy Farrelly , Gregory, Michael and Saiorse Hopp, her nephew Owen Lennon, wife Rosemarie and their children Kelly and Rachel, her sister Maudie and husband Patrick Riordan, brother Joe and wife Annie. Was predeceased by her son Michael Farrelly, grandson Patrick Farrelly and grandnephew Owen Lennon Visitation will be Tuesday, October 10 from 4-8PM and Wednesday, October 11 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY Funeral Mass will be held at 9:45 am on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale on Thursday, October 12 at 11:45 am.
