Timothy Dillon, age 90, of Woodside, NY, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Good Shepherd of Pt. Jefferson, NY. Timothy was born October 12, 1924 in Kilnaboy, County Clare, Ireland. Beloved husband to the late Alice. Loving father of Timothy, Patrick, John, and the late Eileen & Michael. Dear Grandfather to 9 grandchildren. Brother to 10 siblings. Tim came over to America in 1954 and served 2 years in the Army and is a Korean War Veteran. He worked 31 years in the NYC Sanitation Department and retired as a District Superintendent. His parents were John and Bridget Dillon, also from County Clare. Visitation will be Thursday, January 29 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:15 am on Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following mass.
