We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Eamon Hurson, a loving dad and husband, of Maspeth, NY, and formerly of Smithborough, Co. Monaghan, Ireland.

Eamon was born on October 10th, 1960 and passed away suddenly on July 15th, 2026 at his home in Maspeth, Queens, NY.

Eamon was the ninth of ten children, born to Patrick and Eilish (Corley) Hurson. Eamon lived his early life in Tyredigan, Smithborough Co. Monaghan before emigrating to Queens NY in 1985. Eamon worked for many years in construction during his years in NY taking great pride in his work and creative abilities.

Eamon consistently sought new ideas and projects, both in his personal and professional life, that he could fully invest in, bringing joy to many. Good-natured, he would always go out of his way to offer a helping hand to any person. And most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, the life of the party, bringing a smile to many faces.

Eamon is survived by his wife Angela (née Mc Carron, Tydavnet Co. Monaghan) his daughters Rebecca, Shauna & Bryanna.

His siblings Brendan (Kathleen), Frank, Shay (Brigie), Sean (Bernadette), Kevin (Patricia), Mary Connolly, Leo (Brigie), Dympna O'Reilly, Una Hunt (Martin) and his many nieces & nephews in Ireland & in NY.

Along with his in-laws, the McCarron Family of Tydavent Co Monaghan, NY and Chicago.

Visitation will be Monday, July 20 from 4-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Memorial Mass will be held 10 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at St. Mary's Church (Winfield), 70-20 47th Avenue, Woodside, NY.

Burial will be in St. Mary Church Magherarney Cemetery, Smithborough, Co. Monaghan, Ireland.
