Kamal Singh died June 12, 2026 at Forest Hills Hospital. Mrs. Kamal Singh, born on April fourth, nineteen forty-seven, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, is no longer with us on earth. She has moved on to heaven, embraced in the powerful and unconditional love of Jesus Christ, rejoining her loving husband, Mr. Ramesh B. Singh. She is survived here in the U.S. by her son, Anurag; daughter, Rachna; granddaughter, Saira; brother, Sunny; nephew, Sumit; niece, Sheeba; and Sheeba's children, Austin and Alicia, and her nephew from marriage Avinash who she was a second mother to along with extended family here, in India, and abroad. As an immigrant, she embodied a quintessential New York City story—one of resilience, determination, grit, ambition, hustle, resourcefulness, adaptability, pride, and hope. She pursued her passion for entrepreneurship through her business iterations, including Rachna Sari Center, Anurag Emporium, and ultimately Jaipur Emporium, and later courageously expanded her entrepreneurial journey by opening Saira Beauty Salon.. With the backing of her dedicated husband they persevered in NYC, coming here with nothing. Now that is absolutely something massively impressive and noteworthy. The names of her businesses reflected the people and places she loved most. She never allowed setbacks to define her. She may not have made the most wealth in the unforgiving world of business, especially in this most expensive city, but she ultimately continued to push through singlehandedly until she finally came to the realization that she has to retire. Still then, when one chapter ended, she began another pushing efforts to have a business online. With the backing of her husband's hard work, she and the family always had everything they needed and then some. Her determination, generosity, and fearless spirit guided her throughout her life. She shared her love for her roots with her children through Bollywood films, concerts, cultural events, and joyful experiences that became treasured family memories. Her brother Sunny was a successful singer and performer in Jaipur, and she also had a love for singing, performing on occasion at family gatherings and events. Mrs. Kamal Singh was known for her enormous heart and helped countless people throughout her life, often giving beyond her own means to others, causing her husband much anguish but he also was very generous and giving hence, he would go along. Mrs. Kamal Singh played a special role in many peoples' lives including bringing marriages together that last to this day. Mr. and Mrs. Ramesh and Kamal Singh opened their home to countless others to provide them with food, shelter and support when they needed it the most. Fearless by nature, she lived life on her own terms. Whether pursuing new business ventures or traveling to places such as Thailand, Las Vegas, and elsewhere, she embraced life with courage and enthusiasm. Even during serious illness, she remained a fighter, greeting visitors with humor, kindness, and grace rather than complaint. Mrs. Kamal Singh leaves behind a legacy of faith, resilience, generosity, laughter, passion, unwavering determination and indomitable fighting spirit. She touched countless lives and will be remembered for the strength with which she lived and the love she so freely gave.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth on Tuesday, June 16 at 1:00 pm.
