John "Jack" Carroll of Sunnyside, New York passed away on April 7, 2026.

Jack was born in the South Bronx to Mary and John Carroll.

He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving 12 years as a Sgt Medic in the Korean War.

John is survived by his lifelong partner/wife of 57 years. He was a loving father to Patricia and Eileen, Father in Law to Jason/ Paul, Grandfather to Dylan/Sara, Emma, and Lily, Great Grandpa to Dominic James.

He was warm, loving, and gregarious with a great sense of humor.

Visitation will be Friday, April 10 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Queen of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY.
