Mary "P" (Dolan) Murray, 79, of New York, NY passed away on April 6, 2026 in The Bronx.

Mary was born in New York City to James and Mabel Dolan on December 15, 1946. She graduated from Good Shepherd School and St. Catharine Academy and worked in a New York City physicians' office for six decades. She enjoyed figuring out "Who Dun It" before the detectives did in mystery novels and television shows, celebrating or lamenting the outcomes of televised golf tournaments, and occasionally hoisting the "Murray Christmas" games trophy in celebration of her own victory. She also enjoyed recreational gambling, particularly in Atlantic City, and was a loyal, long-time member of the Caesars Seven Stars club.

Mary is survived by her children, Eileen, Daniel, Timothy, Sean, and Brian; their father, Walter; seven grandchildren; and other family members. She is preceded in death by her partner George McCormack and her twin sister, Margaret "Maggie" McArthur.

Visitation will be Friday, April 10 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside on Saturday, April 11 at 11:30 am.
