Obituary of Mary Bridget Maloney
Mary Bridget (Condron) Maloney was born on May 27 th , 1931, and passed away surrounded by family on February 27 th , 2026, at the age of 94. Mary was also known as Breda & Bridgie. She was a native of Crettyard, County Laois, Ireland before she immigrated to Sunnyside, New York where she was welcomed by her aunts and uncle. Although she loved the excitement of New York, she fondly remembered her home and would visit her family in Ireland as often as possible. She soon met the love of her life, Chris Maloney, and they were married on April 3oth, 1960. They settled in Woodside, New York and raised their four children with family and friends close by. Mary had a deep unwavering love for her family, unbendable faith, strong work ethic and so enjoyed fun & laughter.
Mary Bridget was one of five children to Thomas and Elizabeth (Daly) Condron. Mary is survived by her 4 children Christoher Maloney, Jr. (Christine Triolo, spouse), Peter Maloney, Elizabeth (Maloney) Conlon (Kevin Conlon, spouse), and Anne (Maloney) Schneider (Michael Schneider, spouse), 11 grandchildren Peter, Cathryn (James McCann, spouse), Kayleigh, Jack, Christopher, Elizabeth, Ryan, Patrick, Brendan, Ellie and Caroline and 2 great grandsons James and Connor.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at St. Mary's Church (Winfield), 70-20 47th Avenue, Woodside, NY.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside on Thursday, March 5 at 12:00 pm.
