I’ve lovely warm memories as a 13 year old of visting queens & the excitement of visiting Bridgie’s home. My fondest memory is a phone call with her during Covid discussing our family history for a genogram where she told me about census takers in 1911 & how much despite so many years in the USA she still sounded just like her sister Nora. Condolences to all

We have such fond memories of dear Aunt Bridgie and her visits home to Sallysbridge over the years. She was always so kind and generous, never forgetting the family and community she left behind in Ireland. Her kindness and deep faith were reflected in the beautiful stained glass window she sponsored in her local church, St. Abban’s in Doonane.
As children in Sallysbridge, we remember the great excitement when the American parcel arrived, filled with beautiful clothes and gifts.
I also remember the beautiful wedding photograph of Bridgie and Christopher in my grandparents’ house — they looked so glamorous and clearly very much in love.
We always enjoyed our visits with Bridgie and Chris in New York and the warm welcome we received from everyone there.
Our heartfelt condolences to Christopher, Liz, Peter, Anne, and all the extended family. Bridgie will always be remembered with great affection.
May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved husband Chris. She will be greatly missed.
