Obituary of Julia Servidio

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Julia Servidio, our beloved sister, aunt, and friend — born on March 13, 1939, who peacefully passed away on February 23, 2026. She is reunited in eternal rest with her loving parents, Rose and Nicholas, and those who preceded her in death. She was a devoted sister to her fourteen brothers and sisters; a cherished aunt to 22 nieces and nephews; a proud and loving great-aunt to countless great-nieces and great-nephews; a delighted great-great aunt who was always excited to hear about each new addition to the family; and a loving godmother to four godchildren, each of whom held a very special place in her heart. Julia was a caregiver in every sense of the word — unselfish, giving, and always ready to step in wherever she was needed. She helped raise, guide, support, and cheer on generations of nieces and nephews, never asking for anything in return. She was a faithful friend, a steady presence, and a fierce protector of those she loved. She loved with everything she had and gave more than she ever kept for herself. Her strength, humor, and feisty spirit leave an imprint that will never fade. Though our hearts are heavy, we smile through the tears remembering her laughter, her big personality, her generosity, and the countless ways she showed up for all of us. Her legacy lives on in every story we tell, every laugh we share, and every game of bingo played in her honor. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. Visitation will be Thursday, March 5 from 3-7PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Queen Of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village on Friday, March 6 at 12:45 pm.
