Jimmy Joe (James) Cotter died December 21, 2025 at Elmhurst Hospital. James was born June 26, 1971 in New York, NY. Formely of Meengainaire, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry, Ireland. He peacefully passed away surrounded by family and friends. Pre deceased by his father Maurice Cotter. Jimmy Joe will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Gabriella, his mother Kathleen, aunt Betty, Brothers: Maurice, John, and Daniel, Sister in laws: Mary, Mary, and Eileen. Nephews: Kevin, Daniel, Gavin. Nieces: Katie, Victoria, Leann Grand nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, December 28 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 9:45 am on Monday, December 29, 2025 at St. Mary's Of Winfield Church, 70-20 47th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry, Ireland.
