Obituary of Stephanie Braccini

Stephanie Braccini, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, entered Heaven on November 7th, 2025 at the age of 85. Stephanie was the only child born to Mildred and Stephen Tanscik. She was a very proud resident of Sunnyside and lived there for most of her life. Stephanie was a seeker of familial stories, immersing herself in genealogy. Her curiosity and meticulous research helped preserve her family's history, ensuring that no name or story was ever forgotten. She spent countless hours tracing family roots, uncovering stories of generations past, and reminding everyone how deeply connected we all are. When she wasn't tracing her roots, Stephanie loved to travel and visit new places with her husband of 50 years, Livio. They visited various countries around the world together, including Italy, Hungary & England. Stephanie delighted in bright colors, sweet treats, and the companionship of her beloved cat, Socks. Her home was always a welcoming place—filled with laughter, a bowl of ice cream, and a sense of joy that reflected her love of life. Stephanie is survived by her three children, Stefano (Christine), Louise (Zack) & Rosanna (Brian) and her three grandchildren, Tara (Giuseppe), Lauren (Matthew) & Ryan, who will carry on her love of family, travel & discovery. She is predeceased by her husband, Livio. Stephanie will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 31-18 37th Street, Astoria, NY. Burial will be in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx on Thursday, November 13 at 12:00 pm.
