In Memory of Gigi A dear friend of over forty years, Gigi was an extraordinary man — a true intellectual with a deep love for literature, music, art and a delightful sense of humor. He shared a long and happy marriage with his beloved wife, Gabi, whose passing four years ago left an ache in his heart that never truly healed. Her absence weighed heavily on him, and though he continued on, part of him longed to be by her side again. Last year, Gigi suffered a cerebrovascular accident that left him paralyzed and unable to speak, confined to a wheelchair. Through all this, his devoted son Filip stood by him with unwavering love and care — balancing his own work and family while tending to his father with compassion and dignity. Filip’s dedication would make any parent proud. One of the last moments of joy in Gigi’s life was the wedding of his cherished grandson, Sebastian, in September 2025. It was a day filled with joy and pride. After that, it seemed Gigi found his peace — slowly letting go, ready to reunite with the love of his life. He will be remembered as a bright mind, a kind soul, and a loyal friend whose warmth and wit enriched the lives of everyone who knew him. Rest in peace dear friend, you'll be missed.
