Obituary of Lorraine Bria

Lorraine Bria, age 78 of Woodside, New York passed away July 16, 2025. She was born in 1947 in New York City, daughter of the late Emil and Catherine Rosenthal. She is beloved mother of Christopher and Karen, loving grandmother of Ryan, and adoring wife to husband Thomas. A loving friend and caring woman, always giving her time to others. As a mother she was generous, loving and kind. She was an adoring grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandson. She loved being outdoors and taking long walks or sitting in the park with friends. Lorraine's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her laughter, love of life, and ability to make everyone feel cherished will be sorely missed but never forgotten. "We know that we cannot have you, but we are happy knowing that you are at peace in heaven. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother, grandmother, and wife." Visitation will be Friday, July 18 from 4-8PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held 9:00 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale on Saturday, July 19 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lorraine's memory to the The Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org)
