Obituary of Karl Ingebrethsen

Karl Ingebrethsen died unexpectedly on June 1, 2025 at the Palisades Medical Center, North Bergen, New Jersey. He was 70 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. He was born on March 26, 1955, in Queens New York, where he grew up. Karl is survived and missed by his loving wife Victoria (née Icasiano) of 23 years. He also left a son from his first marriage, Erik I. Duchene. He was predeceased by his parents Knut and Mary Ingebrethsen, his sister Ann Lynn O'Neil and brother Michael Knut Ingebrethsen. Karl Ingebrethsen was a retired Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) employee in New York, where he served as a Wire Chief. His Memories lives on with his nephew and nieces Christopher Michael (Jo-Ann) O'Niel, Suzanne Mary (Alan) Manosalvas and children Brandon Michael and Alexis Skye Manosalvas, Laura Ann (Joseph) Fatone and daughter Anastasia Skye, Mathew James Pollinger and his stepdaughter Paula (Pax) Gaan and granddaughter Sophia Nicole Gaan. His viewing will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Edward D Lynch Funeral Home, Inc. 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, New York 11104 at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 5:45pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in All Saints Cemetery, Great Neck, NY at 11:30 am.
