I met Ginny when I lived on West 89th street and don’t think I ever saw her not smiling. Just a lovely person, neighbor & beautiful soul. R.I.P.

I met Ginny when she gave me a sales presentation for Sunset when I was in advertising at Cannon Mills, the bedding and towel manufacturer. We soon became very good friends. Ginny was the ultimate New Yorker. I lived in New Jersey, but I was with her many many times in NYC. She loved the city and explored it.heartily. We visited a number of cabaret performances of people that we loved. We saw many Broadway shows together. Although we didn’t live near each other, she was definitely one of my very best friends and we always made time to spend it together. Ginny was so creative and so mischievous. She was full of love and life and laughter. We shared so many funny experiences. All created by us. And when we bring them up in our conversation, we’d laugh all over again as to what we did. She and I spoke usually once a week after I left my work in New York City. She came to New Jersey a number of times. Including when she saw a Maine, coon kitten being offered way down by Cape May, New Jersey. So I picked her up at the train and we drove to Stone Harbor and she came back with the sweetest little kitten. She had an affinity for Maine coon babies. I would visit her in her sweet home in Center Moriches. More fun adventures.
Ginny filled my life with joy. I miss her so very much. I found some wonderful pictures of her that I have posted in my kitchen. It’s almost the shock each time. I see them because I realize she’s gone. I love you Ginny!
