We worked together in the late 80s and went on the Peace train to Belfast. We shared a great interest in politics and music, especially U2. Always enjoyed the trips to NY to see Doreen David and Rory. And then the Summer or Christmas trips they made to Dublin. Doreen I'll truly miss you.

I’m so sorry & devastated to hear this news for you all. We were neighbours in killester & when I moved to New York for 7 yrs myself & Doreen had many fun nights out that I will always remember. She took me under her wing. I still see her leaning into taxi to take a look at driver & say call me when u home. We danced our legs off many times in Sidetracks & did the boulevard in sunny side bar hopping or nights in manhattan but always great fun. Doreen may you be reunited with ur mum n dad Betty n Tommy & watch over your pride n joy Rory.

Rest in Peace dearest Doreen, my old friend. I have nothing but lovely memories of her. Fun nights drinking and having the craic in Bruxelles, dancing at the Grove, school days, and that great dance she did with Martina and Lavinia to Herbie Hancock in our school talent show. It was always a pleasure to meet up when she’d be home in Dublin. The last time I saw her was at her beloved Da’s funeral. My deepest sympathies to David and Rory and all Doreen’s family.
