Joan Lawson Hemleb died March 6, 2025 at North Shore University Hospital. Joan was born October 27, 1933 in New York, NY. Beloved mother of Anne Elizabeth Licato and Debra Licato. Loving sister of Patricia Rapisara and Barbara Regan. Dear aunt of John Coleman and his wife Catherine, Jeffrey Coleman and his wife Dawn, Richard Lawson and his wife Christine, Sallyann Sergio and her husband Peter, George Regan, Kathy Regan, and the late Michelle Ciervo.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11 from 3-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Queen Of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth on Wednesday, March 12 at 11:30 am.
