It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Reilly, age 85, on January 22nd, 2025. Thomas passed suddenly in Albany Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Thomas was predeceased by father Anthony and mother Beatrice (nee Meenaghan), brothers John & his wife Peggy, Tony & his wife Bernadette, Padraig & his wife Barbara, sisters Eileen Mescall & her husband John, Marie Pacher & her husband Fred, brothers-in-law Michael John Murphy (Shirley), and Henry Gehab (Margaret). Thomas will be deeply missed by his wife Kathleen, his stepchildren and their families Rose McClean & her husband Martin, Kathy Togher, Eileen Togher & her husband Cem Kolukisa, Stephen Togher & his wife Mary. His sisters Shirley Murphy and Margaret Gehab. Tom was a proud grandfather to Emma, Owen, Daniel, and Matthew. He is survived by his daughter Patricia & son James, from his previous marriage. Thomas will be deeply missed by his large extended family including his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.

Visitation will be Sunday January 26th, 2025, from 4-8pm at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 27th, 2025, at 10am in St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street and 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY.

Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY at 12:15pm.

Thomas’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will always be remembered for the kindness and love he so freely gave.
