Obituary of Catherine J. Coscia

Catherine "Katie" J. Coscia, age 91, formerly of Sunnyside, died Thursday, May 21, 2020. Catherine was born June 20, 1928 in New York, NY. Cherished daughter of the late John and Mary Collins and the last surviving sibling of 10 children. Beloved wife of the late Mickey Coscia. Loving mother to Karen Coscia, Michael and his fiancé Diana and Bobby and his wife Arlene. Fond grandmother to Michael, Deana, Tina, Bobby and Kaitlyn. Dear great-grandmother to Alyssa, Adriana and Adam. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Friday, June 5 at St. Raphael's RCC, 35-20 Greenpoint Avenue, Long Island City, NY. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of Katie sent to Saint Raphael's Food Pantry. 35-20 Green Point Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101.
