Satina was more than a friend—she was a sister in spirit, a teammate, and a source of endless joy. From the first days of primary school, our paths were meant to cross, and from that moment on, we shared a bond that time could never break.
Netball was where our friendship truly flourished. I was the captain, and she was our brilliant goal shooter—effortless, graceful, and always dependable. Together, we played our hearts out, pushing each other to be better, celebrating victories, and learning from our defeats. Even as we moved on to high school, our bond remained strong. We continued to stand side by side on the netball court and ran together on the track, always striving, always supporting each other.
Satina had a smile that could brighten even the darkest days. No matter the situation, the moment she walked into a room, her presence radiated warmth and positivity. She had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and uplifted, a rare gift that she carried so effortlessly.
Her kindness, determination, and unwavering friendship will forever remain in my heart. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit lives on in the memories we created, in every netball game played, in every race run, and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rest in peace, Satina. You will always be loved and remembered.
