Thomas McKeown, age 87, of Sunnyside, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at home. Thomas was born September 23, 1929 in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, Ireland. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Fitzgerald). Loving father of Teresa Conheeney and her husband James, Catherine O'Brien and her husband Patrick, Jacqueline Evans and her husband Thomas and Bryan and his wife Nadia Shirazi. Cherished grandfather of Patrick, Kayla, Sara, Kelly and Kian. Dear brother of Nicholas, Jimmy, Kathleen, Rose, Mary and Anna. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, September 1 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Queen Of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside following the Mass.
