James Valentine Scott II, age 65, of Elmhurst, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Bayside, NY. James was born June 22, 1951 in New York, NY. He retired as an Iron Worker from Local #361. Beloved father of Catherine Scott, James Scott III and Frances Scott. Loving brother of Robert Scott, Kathleen Muir, Nora Murphy and the late Patricia Scott & Mary Ellen Scott. Dear grandfather of Lily, Juliet and Logan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, March 19 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Prayer service will be held at 4PM. The funeral will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, in Maspeth, at 1PM.
