Obituary of Katie Elston

Katie Elston nee Donnelly, age 81, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, formerly of Sunnyside, NY, died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Meadowbrook Care Center of Freeport, NY. Katie was born November 22, 1935 in Queens, NY. Beloved wife of the late Will. Devoted mother of Karen O'Connor and her husband Danny, Patti Langlais, Kathleen Davanzo and her husband Tommy, Eileen Falcon, Maureen Alvarez and her husband Bobby, and the late Billy. Dearest sister of John Pat Donnelly and the late Jimmy Donnelly. Loving grandmother of Lauren, Anthony, Allison, Stephanie, Kristina, Billy, Jennifer, Robbie, Peter, Colleen, Melissa, Brian, Taylor, Ashley, Katie and Caitlyn. Cherished great-grandmother of Peyton and Jason. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM and Thursday, January 5 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Queen of Angels RCC, 44th Street And Skillman Avenue, Sunnyside, NY. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Katie's Memory to Queen of Angels Church or a charity of your choice.
