Joan Curran (nee Vitolo), age 86, of Wading River, NY, formerly of Sunnyside, NY, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at home in Campbell Hall. Joan was born May 10, 1928 in New York, NY. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Curran. Loving mother of Kevin (Gabe), Jan Kramer (John), Diane Abrams (Jim), Paul and Barbara Lange (Eddie). Dear sister of Muriel Klugerz and the late Alicia Schoelhammer, Robert, Edward and Paul Vitolo. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Vitolo. Cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, December 8 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at St. Sebastians RCC, 58th Street And Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside, NY. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Tuesday, December 9 at 1pm.
