Obituary of Michael J. Shanahan

Michael J. Shanahan, age 50, of Little Falls, NJ, formally of Sunnyside, NY, died suddenly Friday, August 22, 2014 at Jamaica Hospital. Michael was born November 20, 1963 in Queens, NY. He is the son of Regina (Griffith) Shanahan and the late James P. Shanahan. He was a teacher for the Paterson School District in NJ. He is survived by his children Ryan, Michael, and Sarah Elena and his beloved Grace Shanahan. He is the brother to Regina Grosso (John) and Theresa Gough (Timothy). He is also a loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Monday, August 25, 2014 at St. Teresa RCC, 44th Street And 50th Avenue, Woodside, NY. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 24 from 2-5PM and 7-9:30PM at Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, Inc, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside, NY.
